You have recorded the process. How do you find what to improve?
Bring the recording to Omni. It turns the capture into a process model, flags the gaps your sources leave, and its agents propose changes, each designed as a before and after scenario with the cost, effort and expected return attached.
What does Omni do with a recording?
Three things, in the order you need them: a model of how the work runs, the gaps in it, and the changes worth making.
The recording becomes a process model
The capture joins your connected model: each step linked to the system it runs in, the people who perform it and the data it touches. If a procedure is what you need, Omni writes one, with the screenshot for each step as evidence.
The gaps are flagged, not guessed
Gap analysis flags dead ends, missing owners and unverified systems for you to resolve. Where the recording and your other sources say nothing, Omni says so rather than inventing detail.
Each change comes with its case
Agents propose changes. Each is designed as an explicit before and after scenario, with coverage checks so no step, rule or system is silently lost, and the cost, effort and expected return attached to the processes it touches.
Why start from a recording?
Because it shows the work as it is done. A procedure document says what should happen; a recording shows the clicks, the systems and the order that actually happen, so every change starts from the real process rather than the intended one.
Common questions
Does my recording have to leave my computer?
Not until you choose. The Process Recorder keeps everything on your device until you save a file, and it sends nothing to Valstra. Bringing a recording to Omni is a step you take yourself: in a demo, or once you are using Omni.
Is Omni free, like the recorder?
The Process Recorder is free. Omni is the Valstra platform, priced per person, and the way in is a demo, where you can bring a recording of one of your own processes.
What does Omni need from my team?
Whatever you already have, and a little time. Documents, meeting transcripts, wiki pages, spreadsheets and policies go in as they are, alongside the recording. Then a sponsor to set the goal, and short sessions with the people who run the work in scope.
